Salt was a staple of Poland’s economy (hence the word salary) and its extraction has created a culture in its own right – with its own beliefs and customs. Today you can still visit two nearby salt mines – Poland’s underground salt cathedrals.
The Halite room can house up to 2 grown-ups. It has 22 m² and, as every other of our rooms, is situated on the 3rd floor of a nineteenth-century tenement house that has no access to an elevator.
